With the service features in the new MINI App, you can easily manage your MINI’s maintenance requirements. Get push notifications when your MINI is due for an oil change, book your next service appointment quickly and conveniently, get alerted about recall notices, and even request roadside assistance – all directly through the app.
Your MINI Financial Services Account can now be easily accessed through the MINI App. Simply select the Financial Services button from the profile page, and you’ll be automatically connected to your My MINI Account, where you can view account details, manage payments, and more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you want to connect your vehicle to the MINI App, select "Vehicle" > "Garage" > "Add vehicle". Follow the app’s step-by-step instructions, staying close to your MINI. You must enter the security code, found in ‘MINI Messages’ in your MINI, into the MINI App within three hours. You can find the security code under "MINI Connected" and "MINI messages” on your MINI’s infotainment system.
To set up Amazon Alexa Car integration in your MINI, first start the setup in the MINI App:
- Open the "Profile" tab and select "Amazon Alexa" in the "THIRD PARTIES" section.
- Then select "Connect" next to "Amazon Account".
- Now log in with your Amazon account and agree to "Allow" your Amazon account to connect to your MINI ID.
- Select a language for Amazon Alexa voice control and enable “Share Location” to get information (e.g. weather) at your MINI's location.
Complete the setup in your MINI:
- Connect your smartphone to your vehicle via Bluetooth Audio.
- In the vehicle, activate the "Apps" option in the detail settings of your smartphone.
- Then select "My MINI" >"System settings" >"Data protection" in the operating menu of your MINI and activate the option "Voice recognition via server". Your MINI now displays the "Amazon Alexa" app under "MINI Connected" > "Vehicle Apps". You can activate Amazon Alexa via the voice control button on the steering wheel.
To use Amazon Alexa Car Integration, your MINI must be a model year 2019 and newer with the option ConnectedDrive Services and the Connected Navigation Plus package and a compatible smartphone. Certain language limitations may apply. Available apps and services are subject to change, may vary by location or other factors. May require additional services, plans, subscriptions and vehicle options, and may only be operable in conjunction with certain smartphones and operating systems (smartphone not provided). Not all apps or services may be available for all MINI Models.
The "Charge & Climate" function in the MINI App can be used by all MINI Plug-In Hybrids and fully electric MINIs.
No. The "Find Mate" function is not available in the MINI App.
Yes. You will receive push notifications for any services due as well as technical updates available for your MINI. To do this, enable "Profile" > "Settings" > "Permissions" > "Notifications". You will also receive a corresponding status message in the "Vehicle" tab. To check the status of services for your vehicle, tap on "Check status" in the "Vehicle" tab and then select the "Services" tab.
Yes. Currently, two MINI IDs can be connected to a vehicle: a Primary subscriber and a secondary subscriber.
If you’ve previously registered with the MINI Connected App, the ConnectedDrive website, or the My BMW website, you can use the same ID. New users need to register with a valid email address. If unsure about having a current ID, try the “Forgot Password” feature with your email address.
For previous users of the MINI Connected App, ConnectedDrive website, or My MINI Garage Website, your vehicle should automatically appear in the MINI App. New users can log in, tap “Add Vehicle,” and follow the in-app instructions, requiring access to your MINI during the process.
In the United States, it's supported by vehicles built after March 2018 with the optional MINI Connected Services and a compatible smartphone. The optional Remote Services option enhances the app experience.
